...Reflecting the Reason for the Season!

Reflecting the reason for the season!

Christmas is here again, the atmosphere speaks Christmas, the weather displays it, even Nature honours it... but what exactly is Christmas?

Christmas is simply the Celebration of the birth of Christ. That season that surrounded the birth of our Saviour Jesus.

Just as the same way we remember our dates of birth, the same, to that of our saviour Jesus. Christmas is celebrating the Birthday of Jesus!

Without the birth of Christ, we would have remained in sin;

Jesus was the propitiator for our sins;

Without Jesus equals eternal condemnation;

His coming brought us hope and redemption

His coming bought us back to God's Original glory!

Jesus' coming issued unto us the ticket of eternal life

But in all of these, there is a common denominator to the birth of Jesus Christ:

God loved us- He expressed this love by sending His son,"...that He gave" that is, Love is expressed by Giving! (John 3:16)

This love was not conditional, It was given to all (Jn 1:12, to as many who believe in His Name)

Therefore, this yuletide season, Position yourself to Reflect the Reason for the Season.

Christmas is in the air, show some love to your neighbour! Remember, love is the greatest commandment.

Instead of the assumed adventure, let your expression of love cut across various spheres.

In whichever capacity you adopt to express love, let it be done in the fear of God, Cheerfully (for God loves a cheerful giver) not grudgingly...It’s not of necessity, it should come from your heart...

Remember, "IF IT IS IN YOUR HEART (to express love to someone), IT WILL SOON BE IN YOUR HANDS (the means to express it)

Wishing you a great Christmas...a Christmas full of God's love, joy and peace!

As you celebrate this season, spend much time to appreciate God for the gift of Jesus-which has been reflected in your life through Salvation.

If by any means, you haven't worshipped Jesus with your life, this season is the best time to do so. Your salvation is of utmost importance.

Your total submission to Him will be the best thing to have happened this Christmas because that’s the whole essence of the coming of the Messiah.
